Sheryl hockey about me

My story

Originally from Canada, I have spent most of my life in the Southern Hemisphere, so I affectionately call myself a “Canned Aussie”. My interest in natural health began early: even in high school I carried a little box of essential oils in my backpack. After seven years as a vegetarian, my energy and immunity dropped, and a chance meeting with a naturopath and iridologist changed the course of my life. I went on to study herbal medicine, iridology and nutrition, and qualified with an Advanced Diploma of Western Herbal Medicine in 2007.

Since then I have worked in clinics, health food stores, wellness centres, classrooms and my own private practice, and I have delivered an estimated 4,000 individual sessions. From 2014 I taught Herbal Medicine, Pharmacognosy and Iridology and supervised student clinics, mentoring 51 Advanced Diploma students through their clinical training.

In 2020 my path deepened. I became a Reiki Master, trained in Tao Healing Hands and Soul Communication, and studied astrology, Pranic Healing, meditation and psychic development. Today I weave herbal medicine, energy healing, astrology, meditation and sound healing into a holistic approach that meets you exactly where you are.
