Why I Created the Self Care Sanctuary
In my heart, and as a mother, I know that self care is truly the foundation for healing.
This is such a common story and it is my story too. As mothers and women, we naturally put our children and families first. We give so much of ourselves outwardly, often without even realising it. Over time, this can leave us feeling exhausted, disconnected, and not always like the version of ourselves we imagined we would be in motherhood and in life.
So much of our energy becomes focused on caring for everyone else that we forget to turn inward. Not because we do not care about ourselves, but because we are busy, overwhelmed, and doing the best we can with what we have.
Yet it is in the simplest moments that we begin to return to ourselves.
Setting a clear intention for the day. Placing a hand on our heart. Slowing the breath. Sitting in gentle meditation, even for a few minutes. These small practices bring us back into awareness. They ground us in the present moment and reconnect us with ourselves.
From this place of presence, something shifts. We begin to feel more centred and more connected to the version of ourselves we truly want to be. Not a perfect version, but a more present, calm, and embodied one. This is the version of us that can meet life and motherhood with greater clarity, compassion, and inner calm.
This is why I created the Self Care Sanctuary.
I wanted to create a space that offers practical tools, techniques, and courses to support women in integrating self care into everyday life. Not as another thing to add to an already full to do list, but as simple, accessible practices that meet you where you are. The goal is to integrate these practices into moments of our life, bringing us back to the present, back to our heart and back to being conscious. (How much of your day is spent on auto pilot? For most people its about 95% of our day!)
Inside the Self Care Sanctuary, you will find free recorded meditations and courses, with more being added over time. Everything is designed to gently guide your focus back inward. To help you bring more awareness to what you need; body, mind and soul.
My intention is for every woman to become an expert in herself!
I see so many women give their power away. I want women to feel educated, empowered, and supported to choose what is right for them. Every woman is unique. Every body, nervous system, and life path is different. True self care honours this uniqueness rather than trying to fit into a one size fits all approach.
The Self Care Sanctuary is a space for self awareness, self trust, and inner connection. A place to learn tools you can return to again and again, especially in moments when life feels busy, overwhelming, or demanding.
I am so excited to continue growing this community and creating more offerings to support women on their journey home to themselves. I also love that the sanctuary is currently free and accessible whenever you have a moment, because as mothers and women, our time is precious and often limited.
